Hrīḥ. Within the luminous dharmakāya, unfabricated and beyond concepts,

The manifold maṇḍalas of the infinite sections of tantras are perfectly complete.

To the three-kāya guru, beyond meeting and parting,

I offer praise relatively as a mere illusion.

Empowerment

Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo composed this empowerment text for Tiklé Gyachen following a vision of Longchenpa that he experienced while visiting the master's residence at Gangri Thökar in 1840. The text is therefore regarded as a mind treasure, supplemental to Jigme Lingpa's original Longchen Nyingtik revelation.

The innermost secret guru practice of the Longchen Nyingtik cycle focuses on Longchen Rabjam and is considered an indispensable preliminary to Dzogchen practice. Jigme Lingpa revealed the practice some time around 1761, during his second three-year retreat, then kept it secret for five years.
