༄༅། །རིག་འཛིན་སྙིང་གི་ཐིག་ལེ་ལས༔ གཡང་འགུགས་མེ་ཏོག་ཆར་སིལ་བཞུགས་སོ༔

A Rain of Flowers to Summon Prosperity

from the Heart-Essence of the Vidyādharas

revealed by Lhatsün Namkha Jigme

 

གཡང་འགུགས་མེ་ཏོག་འཇའ་འོད་འབར་བའི་ཆར་སིལ་མ་ནི༔ གཅེས་ཕྲུག་ཕོ་མོ་གཙང་མ་ཁྲུས་བྱས་རྒྱན་གྱིས་སྤྲས༔ མདའ་དར་ཁ་དོག་ལྔ་ལྡན་དང་བཀྲ་ཤིས་པའི་རིགས་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་པ་ལག་ཏུ་ཐོགས་ལ༔ ཚེའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་དུ་གནས་སྐབས་ཀྱི་བྱིན་འོད་གཡང་དཔལ་ཉམས་པ་སོགས་བཀྲ་མི་ཤིས་པ་ཟློག་པ་དང༔ བཀྲ་ཤིས་བྱིན་འོད་འཇིག་རྟེན་སྲིད་པའི་བཅུད་རྣམས་འགུགས་ཤིང་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པའི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་གང་བསྒྲིགས་ཀྱང་ཁྱད་པར་དུ་འཕགས་པའི་ཆོ་ག་ནི༔

For this summoning of prosperity as a gentle rain of flowers and brilliant rainbow light, the treasured disciples, male and female, should be cleansed though ablution and dressed in adornments. They should hold in their hands the five-coloured silken arrow and countless symbols of auspiciousness. The ritual is especially effective when it is used to avert any misfortune, such as a deterioration of the light of blessings or of prosperity and glory, to invoke auspiciousness and the light of blessings and vitality from throughout the world, and to ensure the auspicious conditions for abundance.

ཧྲཱི༔ ཆོས་དབྱིངས་ཁྱབ་བརྡལ་ཡངས་པ་རྒྱལ་བའི་ཞིང༔

hri, chöying khyabdal yangpa gyalwé zhing

Hrīḥ. From the vast realm of the victorious ones, the all-pervasive dharmadhātu,

ཕྱོགས་དུས་རྒྱལ་བ་རྩ་གསུམ་རིག་པ་འཛིན༔

chok dü gyalwa tsa sum rigpa dzin

The victorious ones, Three Roots and vidyādharas throughout the whole of space and time,

མཁའ་སྤྱོད་འཇའ་འོད་འཁྲུགས་པའི་གུར་ཁང་ནས༔

khachö ja ö trukpé gurkhang né

And the celestial pavilion of swirling rainbow light,

རིག་འཛིན་བླ་མས་བྱིན་རླབས་གཡང་ཁུག་ཅིག༔

rigdzin lamé jinlab yangkhuk chik

I summon the prosperity of the vidyādhara gurus’ blessings!

 

འོག་མིན་རྡོ་རྗེ་དབྱིངས་ཀྱི་གཞལ་ཡས་ནས༔

womin dorjé ying kyi zhalyé né

From the vajra palace of the expanse of Akaniṣṭha,

ལོངས་སྤྱོད་རྫོགས་སྐུ་རྒྱལ་བ་རིགས་ལྔ་ལ༔

longchö dzok ku gyalwa rik nga la

The sambhogakāya buddhas of the five families,

ཐེག་དགུའི་ཡི་དམ་ལྷ་ཡིས་བསྐོར་རྣམས་ཀྱིས༔

tek gü yidam lha yi kor nam kyi

Surrounded by the yidam deities of the nine vehicles,

མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་གཡང་ཁུག་ཅིག༔

chok dang tünmong ngödrub yangkhuk chik

I summon the prosperity of siddhis, ordinary and supreme!

 

ཉི་ཤུ་རྩ་བཞིའི་གནས་ཡུལ་དུར་ཁྲོད་ནས༔

nyishu tsa zhi neyul durtrö né

From the charnel grounds of the twenty-four sacred places,

དཔའ་བོ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཆོས་སྲུང་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ལ༔

pawo khandro chösung gyatso la

The ocean of ḍākas, ḍākinīs, and dharmapālas,

ལས་བྱེད་ཕོ་ཉའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བསྐོར་བ་ཡིས༔

lejé ponyé tsok kyi korwa yi

Surrounded by the assembly of servants and messengers,

ཕྲིན་ལས་རྣམ་བཞི་འགྲུབ་པའི་གཡང་ཁུག་ཅིག༔

trinlé nam zhi drubpé yangkhuk chik

I summon the prosperity of accomplishing fourfold activity!

 

སྟོང་གསུམ་མི་མཇེད་འཇིག་རྟེན་ཞིང་ཁམས་ནས༔

tongsum mijé jikten zhingkham né

From the three-thousandfold Sahā world realm,

བསྟན་པའི་བདག་པོ་དུས་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བ་དང༔

tenpé dakpo dü sum gyalwa dang

Through the victors of the three times, masters of the teachings,

བསྟན་འཛིན་སྐྱེས་བུ་འགྲོ་བའི་དཔལ་མགོན་གྱིས༔

tendzin kyebu drowé palgön gyi

And the glorious protectors of beings, holders of the teachings,

སངས་རྒྱས་བསྟན་པ་རྒྱས་པའི་གཡང་ཁུག་ཅིག༔

sangye tenpa gyepé yangkhuk chik

I summon the prosperity of the flourishing of Buddha’s teachings.

 

སྲིད་པའི་ལྷ་རབས་དགེ་བསྙེན་གཞི་བདག་དང༔

sipé lha rab genyen zhidak dang

Gods of existence, the genyen, the local deities,

སྤར་སྨེ་ལོ་འགྲོས་བདག་པོ་འབྱུང་བ་འདིའི༔

par mé lo drö dakpo jungwa di

Masters of astrological squares, trigrams, and years,¹

ཕྱི་དང་ནང་དང་གསང་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས༔

chi dang nang dang sangwé lha nam kyi

Deities of the outer, inner, and secret dimensions of the elements—

རང་རང་ལས་ལ་དབང་བའི་གཡང་ཁུག་ཅིག༔

rang rang lé la wangwé yangkhuk chik

I summon the prosperity of each controlling their own activity.

 

ཕྱོགས་སྐྱོང་བཅུ་དང་འཇིགས་བྱེད་ཆེན་པོ་དགུ༔

chokkyong chu dang jikjé chenpo gu

Through the ten guardians of the directions, nine great fearsome ones,

ལྷ་ཀླུ་གཟའ་དང་རྒྱུ་སྐར་ཉེར་བརྒྱད་ལྷ༔

lha lu za dang gyukar nyer gyé lha

Gods, nāgas, planets, and twenty-eight constellation deities,

གཙང་རིས་དཔལ་མགོན་ཆེན་པོ་བདུན་ཅུ་ཡིས༔

tsangri palgön chenpo dünchu yi

And the seventy great protectors of the glorious abode,

སྟོབས་དང་གཟི་བརྗིད་རྒྱས་པའི་གཡང་ཁུག་ཅིག༔

tob dang ziji gyepé yangkhuk chik

I summon the prosperity of enhanced strength and splendour!

 

ལོ་དང་ཟླ་བ་ཞག་དང་དུས་ཚོད་དང༔

lo dang dawa zhak dang dütsö dang

Through deities who control years, months, days, hours,

རྟེན་འབྲེལ་ཚེས་ལ་དབང་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་དང༔

tendrel tsé la wangwé lha nam dang

And preside over the interdependence of occasion,

མཁར་གྱི་རྩེ་ལྷ་ཞིང་གི་ཚངས་པ་ཡིས༔

khar gyi tsé lha zhing gi tsangpa yi

And the god of the fortress peak, Brahmā of the field,

འབྲུ་ནོར་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་དཔལ་ཕུན་གཡང་ཁུག་ཅིག༔

dru nor longchö pal pün yangkhuk chik

I summon the prosperity of abundant grain, wealth, resources, and glory!

 

གཡང་གི་བདག་པོ་ཨཱརྻ་ཛམྦྷ་ལ༔

yang gi dakpo arya dzambha la

Through Ārya Jambhala, master of prosperity,

རྒྱལ་ཆེན་རྣམ་ཐོས་སྲས་དང་གནོད་སྦྱིན་རིགས།

gyalchen namtö sé dang nöjin rik

The great king Vaiśravaṇa and the yakṣas,

ཁམས་གསུམ་དབང་སྡུད་དབང་ཕྱུག་ཆེན་པོ་ཡིས༔

kham sum wangdü wangchuk chenpo yi

And mighty lords who magnetize the three worlds,

མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་གཡང་ཁུག་ཅིག༔

chok dang tünmong ngödrub yangkhuk chik

I summon the prosperity of the siddhis, ordinary and supreme.

 

གཡང་གི་ལྷ་མོ་ནོར་རྒྱུན་དཔལ་ལྷ་མོ༔

yang gi lhamo nor gyün pal lhamo

Through the glorious Vasudhārā, goddess of prosperity,

གཡང་ཅན་ཚེ་རིང་མ་དང་བརྟན་མའི་ཚོགས༔

yangchen tseringma dang tenmé tsok

Tseringma the prosperous and the hosts of Tenma,

ཁམས་གསུམ་དབང་དུ་སྡུད་པའི་ཌཱ་ཀི་མས༔

kham sum wang du düpé daki mé

And the ḍākinīs who magnetize the three worlds,

བུ་ནོར་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་རྒྱས་པའི་གཡང་ཁུག་ཅིག༔

bunor longchö gyepé yangkhuk chik

I summon the prosperity of increased progeny, wealth and resources.

 

ངོ་མཚར་ལྷ་ཡི་མེ་ཏོག་སྤོས་སྤྲིན་དང༔

ngotsar lha yi metok pö trin dang

Flowers, wondrous and divine, and clouds of incense,

བཀྲ་ཤིས་རྫས་རྟགས་སྣང་སྲིད་རོལ་མོའི་སྒྲ༔

tashi dzé tak nangsi rolmö dra

Auspicious substances and symbols, music of appearance and existence,

བུམ་པ་བཟང་དང་དཔག་བསམ་ཡིད་བཞིན་ནོར༔

bumpa zang dang paksam yizhin nor

The excellent vase and the wish-fulfilling jewel—

སྲིད་པའི་ངོ་མཚར་དཔལ་གྱི་གཡང་ཁུག་ཅིག༔

sipé ngotsar pal gyi yangkhuk chik

I summon the splendid wonders of existence.

 

ཕུན་ཚོགས་གཡང་རའི་དབུས་ན་འོད་འབར་བའི༔

püntsok yang ré ü na öbar bé

In the centre of this field of perfect prosperity

གཡང་ཆང་ཚེ་རིལ་བདུད་རྩི་དཔལ་གྱི་བཤོས༔

yang chang tseril dütsi pal gyi shö

With blazing prosperity alcohol, long-life pills, and splendid food,

རབ་འབྱམས་འཇའ་གུར་འཁྱིལ་བའི་ཟེར་ཕྲེང་སྦྲེལ༔

rabjam ja gur khyilwé zer treng drel

And infinite rainbows and connected garlands of light,

སྟོབས་ཕུན་མངའ་ཐང་རྒྱས་པའི་གཡང་ཁུག་ཅིག༔

tob pün ngatang gyepé yangkhuk chik

I summon the prosperity of increased power and dominion.

 

གཡང་འདིས་སྒྲུབ་གནས་ཀུན་གྱི་བྱིན་འོད་ཕོབ༔

yang di drubné kün gyi jin ö pob

Let this prosperity bring the light of blessings to all sites of practice.

གཡང་འདིས་ཚེ་དཔལ་ཉམས་པ་ཡར་ལ་གསོས༔

yang di tsé pal nyampa yar la sö

Let this prosperity heal any decline in longevity or splendour.

གཡང་འདིས་རྒས་ཤིང་རྒུད་པ་མལ་ནས་སློངས༔

yang di gé shing güpa mal né long

Let this prosperity cause the aged and infirm to rise from their beds.

གཡང་འདིས་དབུལ་པོ་ཐམས་ཅད་ནོར་དང་སྤྲོད༔

yang di ulpo tamché nor dang trö

Let this prosperity grant riches to all those in poverty.

གཡང་འདིས་འོན་ལོང་ཞ་བོའི་དབང་པོ་སྟོན༔

yang di önlong zhawö wangpo tön

Let this prosperity unlock the potential of the deaf, blind and disabled.

གཡང་འདིས་ཆག་ཆེ་ཉམ་ང་ཕྱིར་ལ་སྒྱུར༔

yang di chak ché nyam nga chir la gyur

Let this prosperity avert calamities and disasters.

གཡང་འདིས་ཕོ་བྲང་དབུས་སུ་བྱིན་འོད་ཕོབ༔

yang di podrang ü su jin ö pob

Let this prosperity bring the light of blessings into the heart of the palace.

གཡང་འདིས་ཁམས་གསུམ་སྲིད་གསུམ་དབང་དུ་སྡུས༔

yang di kham sum si sum wang du dü

Let this prosperity bring the three worlds and three planes of existence under our control.

གཡང་འདིས་འཁོར་ལོས་སྒྱུར་བའི་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་སྤྲོད༔

yang di khorlö gyurwé gyalsi trö

Let this prosperity grant us the dominion of a universal monarch.

གཡང་འདིས་མཐུ་རྩལ་ནུས་པ་མེ་ལྟར་སྤོར༔

yang di tutsal nüpa mé tar por

Let this prosperity ignite like fire our power, strength and ability.

གཡང་འདིས་འཁོར་དང་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་དབུས་སུ་ཆུག༔

yang di khor dang longchö ü su chuk

Let this prosperity bring retinue and riches into the centre.

གཡང་འདིས་ཕ་རོལ་རྩོད་ལས་རྒྱལ་བར་མཛོད༔

yang di parol tsö lé gyalwar dzö

Let this prosperity bring victory over opponents in conflict.

གཡང་འདིས་བདག་ཅག་དཔོན་སློབ་མཐུན་ཞིང་འགྲོགས༔

yang di dakchak pönlob tün zhing drok

Let this prosperity bring us, master and disciples, harmony and accord.

གཡང་འདིས་ཉམས་ཆག་འགལ་འཁྲུལ་ཞིག་པ་གསོས༔

yang di nyamchak galtrul zhikpa sö

Let this prosperity heal confusion, impairments and breakages of commitment.

གཡང་འདིས་གྲིབ་དང་མི་གཙང་གཡེངས་ལས་སྐྱོབས༔

yang di drib dang mi tsang yeng lé kyob

Let this prosperity protect against pollution, impurity, and distraction.

གཡང་འདིས་སྡེ་བརྒྱད་འབྱུང་པོའི་སྲུང་འཁོར་མཛོད༔

yang di dé gyé jungpö sungkhor dzö

Let this prosperity create a circle of protection against spirits of the eight classes.

གཡང་འདིས་དངོས་གྲུབ་ཡར་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཁུག༔

yang di ngödrub yarwa tamché khuk

Let this prosperity gather all the attainments that have dissipated.

གཡང་འདིས་སྙན་དང་གྲགས་པས་ས་སྟེང་ཁོངས༔

yang di nyen dang drakpé sateng khong

Let this prosperity bring widespread fame and renown.

གཡང་འདིས་ངོ་མཚར་འབྲུག་སྒྲ་རྟག་ཏུ་སྒྲོགས༔

yang di ngotsar drukdra taktu drok

Let this prosperity cause the thunder of wonderment to sound forever.

གཡང་འདིས་བྱས་ཚད་ཆོས་སུ་འགྲོ་བར་མཛོད༔

yang di jé tsé chö su drowar dzö

Let this prosperity transform all actions into Dharma.

གཡང་འདིས་ཆོས་དང་རིགས་ཀྱི་བརྒྱུད་པ་སྤེལ༔

yang di chö dang rik kyi gyüpa pel

Let this prosperity extend the family and Dharma line.

གཡང་འདིས་སྡེ་འདི་མི་གཡོ་བརྟན་པར་མཛོད༔

yang di dé di mi yo tenpar dzö

Let this prosperity make this community stable and unwavering.

གཡང་འདིས་རང་བྱུང་རིག་པ་མ་དང་སྤྲོད༔

yang di rangjung rigpa ma dang trö

Let this prosperity unite us with the mother, naturally arisen awareness.

གཡང་འདིས་འཁོར་འདས་གཞི་ཟད་ས་ལ་སྐྱོལ༔

yang di khordé zhi zé sa la kyol

Let this prosperity bring us to the ground in which saṃsāra and nirvāna are exhausted.

གཡང་འདིས་ཚེ་གཅིག་རྫོགས་སངས་རྒྱས་པར་མཛོད༔

yang di tsé chik dzoksang gyepar dzö

Let this prosperity lead us to complete enlightenment within a single lifetime.

གཡང་འདིས་ཁམས་གསུམ་འཁོར་བ་དོང་ནས་སྤྲུགས༔

yang di kham sum khorwa dong né truk

Let this prosperity empty the three realms of saṃsāra from their very depths.

གཡང་འདིས་འགྲོ་ཀུན་ཕྱིར་མི་ལྡོག་པར་མཛོད༔

yang di dro kün chirmidokpar dzö

Let this prosperity ensure that no being ever regresses.

གཡང་འདིས་འབྲེལ་ཚད་པདྨ་འོད་དུ་སྐྱོལ༔

yang di dreltsé pema ö du kyol

Let this prosperity lead all with a connection to Lotus Light.

ཅེས་ཐུན་དྲུག་ཏུ་ཚེ་གཡང་ཁ་སྤྲོད་འགུགས་པར་བྱའོ༔ ས་མ་ཡ༔

Invoke longevity and prosperity in combination throughout the six session of the day and night. Samaya!

 

ལྷ་བཙུན་ནམ་མཁའ་འཇིགས་མེད་ཀྱི་དག་སྣང་རིག་འཛིན་སྲོག་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་ཆོས་སྡེ་འོ།། །།
