ནོར་སྒྲུབ་རིན་ཆེན་བུམ་བཟང་སྐབས། །
བརྗོད་པ་ཚིག་གི་བྱིན་འབེབས་ལ། །
ཞྭ་གོས་ཕོད་ཀ་རྒྱན་གྱིས་བཀླུབས། །
རྔ་རོལ་བརྡུང་བའི་དབྱངས་སྙན་པོས། །
རྩེ་གཅིག་གྱེར་སྒོམ་འདི་ལྟར་བྱ།
Oṃ svasti!
When performing the descent of blessings
For the wealth practice Excellent Vase of Jewels,
Don the ritual attire—hat, robes and gown—and,
Accompanied by the pleasing rhythm of drums,
Chant and visualize one-pointedly as follows:
ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱིཿ རང་སྣང་རྣམ་དག་དོན་གྱི་འོག་མིན་ནས། །
hung hrih, rangnang namdak dön gyi womin né
Hūṃ hrīḥ. From the ultimate unsurpassed realm1 of my own pure perception,
རང་རིག་ཆོས་སྐུའི་བླ་མས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ། །
rangrig chökü lamé jin chen pob
Come, dharmakāya, guru of self-awareness, shower down your great blessings.
གཞན་སྣང་འགྲོ་འདུལ་སྤྲུལ་སྐུའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ནས། །
zhennang drodul tulkü kyilkhor né
From the nirmāṇakāya maṇḍala, teachers perceived by all,
གཞན་དོན་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་གཟུགས་སྐུས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ། །
zhendön lhündrub zukkü jin chen pob
Come, rūpakāya, spontaneous accomplisher of others’ benefit, shower down your great blessings.
རྒྱ་བལ་ས་མཚམས་སྤོས་རི་ངད་ལྡན་ནས། །
gya bal satsam pö ri ngeden né
From the fragrant border mountains of India and Nepal,2
སྐྱེས་མཆོག་ཚུལ་བཟང་བླ་མས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ། །
kyechok tsul zang lamé jin chen pob
Come, Guru Kyechok Tsulzang, shower down your great blessings.
བྱང་ཕྱོགས་ལྕང་ལོ་ཅན་གྱི་ཕོ་བྲང་ནས། །
jangchok changlo chen gyi podrang né
From the Palace of Alakavatī3 in the northern direction,
ནོར་ལྷ་གཏེར་བདག་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ། །
norlha terdak gyatsö jin chen pob
Come, ocean of wealth gods and treasure lords, shower down your great blessings.
གངས་ཅན་བོད་ཡུལ་གནས་ཆེན་ཉེར་ལྔ་ནས། །
gangchen böyul né chen nyernga né
From the twenty-five great places of Tibet’s Snowy Land,
ཐུགས་སྲས་རྗེ་འབངས་ཉེར་ལྔས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ། །
tuksé jebang nyerngé jin chen pob
Come, Guru’s heart disciples—king and twenty-five subjects,4 shower down your great blessings.
ཕྱོགས་བཞི་དབུས་ལྔ་ལ་སོགས་གཏེར་གནས་ནས། །
chok zhi ü nga lasok ter né né
From the treasure abodes in the middle, the four directions, and beyond,
གཏེར་ཆེན་གཏེར་ཕྲན་རྒྱ་མཚོས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ། །
terchen tertren gyatsö jin chen pob
Come, ocean of major and minor treasure revealers, shower down your great blessings.
དུར་ཁྲོད་མེ་རི་འབར་བ་ལ་སོགས་ནས། །
durtrö meri barwa lasok né
From the charnel grounds, such as Blazing Mountain,
ཡི་དམ་ཞི་ཁྲོ་རབ་འབྱམས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ། །
yidam zhitro rabjam jin chen pob
Come, infinite peaceful and wrathful deities, shower down your great blessings.
ཙཱ་རི་ཏྲ་སོགས་ཉེར་བཞིའི་གནས་ཡུལ་ནས། །
tsa ri tra sok nyerzhi neyul né
From the twenty-four sacred places, such as Cāritra,
དཔའ་བོ་མཁའ་འགྲོའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ། །
pawo khandrö tsok kyi jin chen pob
Come, hosts of ḍākas and ḍākinīs, shower down your great blessings.
ཁམས་གསུམ་ཡོངས་སྒྲོལ་དྲག་པོའི་ཕོ་བྲང་ནས། །
kham sum yong drol drakpö podrang né
From the wrathful palace, the three realms completely liberated,
དམ་ཅན་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ། །
damchen chökyong gyatsö jin chen pob
Come, sworn ocean of dharma protectors, shower down your great blessings.
སྐྱབས་གནས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་བྱིན་ཆེན་འབེབས་པའི་ཚེ། །
kyabné gyatsö jin chen bebpé tsé
As an ocean of refuge objects shower down their great resplendence,
སྦྱིན་པའི་ཕར་ཕྱིན་གཏེར་ཆེན་སྤུངས་སེ་སྤུང༌། །
jinpé parchin terchen pung sé pung
The vast treasure of perfect generosity amasses and abounds.
ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་རྣམ་དག་སྤོས་དྲི་ཐུ་ལུ་ལུ། །
tsultrim namdak pö dri tu lu lu
The sweet incense of pure discipline billows and swirls.
བཟོད་པའི་གོ་ཆ་རྒྱན་ཆ་སི་ལི་ལི། །
zöpé gocha gyencha si li li
The armour adornment of patience clinks and chimes.
བརྩོན་འགྲུས་མྱུར་མགྱོགས་གར་སྟབས་ཁྱུགས་སེ་ཁྱུག །
tsöndrü nyur gyok gartab khyuk sé khyuk
A dance of eager diligence prances and twirls.
བསམ་གཏན་འོད་གསལ་ཟེར་ཐག་སྤྲིངས་སེ་སྤྲིང༌། །
samten ösal zer tak tring sé tring
Rays of luminous meditation twinkle and shine.
ཤེས་རབ་ཡེ་ཤེས་མེ་དཔུང་འུ་རུ་རུ། །
sherab yeshe mepung u ru ru
Fire of knowledge and wisdom crackles and pops.
ཐབས་མཁས་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་རྒྱ་མཚོ་མེ་རེ་རེ། །
tabkhé tukjé gyatso mé ré ré
Compassionate means, an ocean, shimmers and gleams.
སྟོབས་བཅུའི་སྒྲ་དབྱངས་རོལ་མོ་དི་རི་རི། །
tob chü drayang rolmo di ri ri
The ten awakened powers echo and roar their symphony.
སྨོན་ལམ་བདེན་ཚིག་བརྡ་སྐད་ལྷངས་སེ་ལྷང༌། །
mönlam dentsik da ké lhang sé lhang
Prayers, true words, and symbolic sounds vibrate and ring.
ཡེ་ཤེས་ལྔ་ལྡན་འཇའ་འོད་ལམས་སེ་ལམ། །
yeshe ngaden ja ö lam sé lam
The rainbow light of the five wisdoms glimmers and glows.
ཐབས་ཀྱི་དཔའ་བོའི་བྲོ་བརྡུང་ཁྲིགས་སེ་ཁྲིག །
tab kyi pawö drodung trik sé trik
The graceful steps of method ḍākas enchant and charm.
ཤེས་རབ་དཔའ་མོའི་གླུ་དབྱངས་ཀྱུ་རུ་རུ། །
sherab pamö luyang kyu ru ru
The lovely song of wisdom ḍākinīs resonates and resounds.
ཟུང་འཇུག་དགྱེས་པའི་གར་སྟབས་ཤིགས་སེ་ཤིག །
zungjuk gyepé gartab shik sé shik
The dance of joyful union whirls and unfolds.
དྲག་པོའི་གད་རྒྱང་ཕཊ྄་སྒྲ་སངས་སེ་སང༌། །
drakpö gé gyang pé dra sang sé sang
The sound of phaṭ, a fierce laugh, rouses and wakes.
སྐལ་ལྡན་མོས་པའི་བུ་ལ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
kalden möpé bu la jingyi lob
Grant blessings to your fortunate, devoted children.
དགྱེས་ལྡན་ལྷ་ཡི་ཞལ་བཟང་དངོས་སུ་སྟོན། །
gyeden lha yi zhal zang ngö su tön
Truly reveal the joyful deva’s splendid face.
འབྱོར་ལྡན་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་མཆོད་པ་བཅུད་ཆེན་ཕོབས། །
jorden tsok kyi chöpa chü chen pob
Imbue these gifts of riches with essential potency.
དམ་ལྡན་རྣལ་འབྱོར་ཕོ་མོ་སྨིན་གྲོལ་མཛོད། །
damden naljor pomo mindrol dzö
Ripen and free samaya-holding yogīs and yoginīs!
ཕྱི་སྣོད་རྣམ་དག་འོག་མིན་ཞིང་དུ་སྒྱུར། །
chinö namdak womin zhing du gyur
Transform the outer world into a pristine Akaniṣṭha
རང་རྒྱུད་རྣམ་དག་ཡེ་ཤེས་ལྔ་རུ་སྒྱུར། །
ranggyü namdak yeshe nga ru gyur
And my mindstream into the five pristine wisdoms!
ཁྱད་འཕགས་བཞི་ལྡན་གསང་སྔགས་ཟབ་ཆོས་ཀྱིས། །
khyé pak zhiden sang ngak zab chö kyi
By way of Secret Mantra, profound and four times exalted,
འབྲེལ་ཚད་དོན་དང་ལྡན་པའི་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབས། །
dreltsé dön dang denpé jin chen pob
Rain meaningful blessings on everyone we meet!
སྟོན་ཅིག་རྟགས་དང་མཚན་བཟང་མྱུར་དུ་སྟོན། །
tön chik tak dang tsen zang nyurdu tön
Reveal excellent signs and omens! Swiftly, show us!
སྩོལ་ཅིག་མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །
tsol chik chok dang tünmong ngödrub tsol
Bestow supreme and common siddhis! Give them to us!
ཟུངས་ཤིག་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་ལྕགས་ཀྱུས་འབྲལ་མེད་ཟུངས། །
zung shik tukjé chakkyü dralmé zung
Catch us, always, with your hook of compassion! Hold us!
སྒྲོལ་ཅིག་བདག་འཛིན་ཉོན་མོངས་དུག་ལྔ་སྒྲོལ། །
drol chik dakdzin nyönmong duk nga drol
Liberate self-clinging, the afflictions, the five poisons! Free us!
ཕོབ་ཅིག་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབ། །
pob chik dorjé yeshe jin chen pob
Rain down blessings of vajra wakefulness! Shower down upon us!
སྐུར་ཅིག་བྱིན་རླབས་འཕོ་བའི་དབང་ཆེན་སྐུར། །
kur chik jinlab powé wangchen kur
Confer a great empowerment of transferred blessings! Inspire us!
ཐུགས་དམ་དུས་ལ་བབ་པོ་ས་མ་ཡ། །
tukdam dü la babpo samaya
The time has come to fulfil your heart promise! Samaya!
བཛྲ་གརྦྷ་ཛྙཱ་ན་ཨ་བེ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨ་ཨཿ
benza garbha jnana abeshaya a ah
vajra garbha jñāna āveśāya a aḥ
ཞེས་པ་འདི་ལྟར་དགོས་ཞེས་དགེ་བའི་བཤེས་གཉེན་དམ་པ་ལུང་རིགས་ཡོན་ཏན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་མངའ་བདག་བསོད་ནམས་ལྷ་རྒྱལ་གྱིས་གསུང་བསྐུལ་གནང་ངོར་མཁན་པོ་ཀརྨ་རཏྣས་རྒྱལ་གྱི་ཟླ་བའི་ཡར་ཚེས་ལ་བྲིས་པ་དགེ་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག།།།
At the behest of the venerable virtuous friend, Sönam Lhagyal, a lord who holds an ocean of qualities of scripture and reasoning, and who said that something like this was needed, I, Khenpo Karma Ratna, composed this during the waxing of the moon in the middle month of winter. May it be virtuous!
