om svasti

Oṃ svasti.

ཕྱོགས་དུས་རྒྱལ་བ་སྲས་དང་བཅས་པ་ཡི།    །

chok dü gyalwa sé dang chepa yi

Single embodiment of the knowledge, love and wisdom

མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་ཡེ་ཤེས་གཅིག་ཏུ་བསྡུས་པའི་སྐུ།    །

khyentsé yeshe chik tu düpé ku

Of the victors and their heirs throughout space and time,

དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བཤེས་གཉེན་ལ།    །

palden lama chö kyi shenyen la

Glorious guru, spiritual friend,

གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བདག་རྒྱུད་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས།    །

solwa deb so dak gyü jingyi lob

To you I pray: inspire me with your blessings.

གང་གི་ཡེ་ཤེས་མཆོག་གི་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ།    །

gang gi yeshe chok gi trulpé ku

The nirmāṇakāya emanation of your supreme primordial wisdom,

མཐའ་ཀླས་བསྟན་འགྲོའི་པད་ཚལ་རྒྱས་པའི་གཉེན།    །

talé ten drö petsal gyepé nyen

Who causes the lotus garden of limitless teachings and beings to thrive,

ཆོས༵་ཀྱི༵་བློ༵་གྲོས༵་སྨྲ་བའི་ཉི་མ་ཡི།    །

chökyi lodrö mawé nyima yi

Sun among teachers, Chökyi Lodrö,

ཞབས་པད་བསྐལ་བ་རྒྱ་མཚོར་བཞུགས་གསོལ་འདེབས།    །

zhabpé kalwa gyatsor zhuk soldeb

I pray that your lotus feet may remain secure for an ocean of aeons.

བདག་ཅག་འདི་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སྙིང་པོའི་བར།    །

dakchak di né changchub nyingpö bar

From now until we reach the essence of awakening, may we

ཞབས་སེན་བདེ་ཆེན་འཁོར་ལོར་མཆོད་པ་དང་།    །

zhab sen dechen khorlor chöpa dang

Offer the chakras of great bliss at our crowns before your feet.

གསུང་གི་བདུད་རྩིས་དབུགས་དབྱུང་དགའ་སྟོན་གྱིས།    །

sung gi dütsi ukyung gatön gyi

And through the joyous celebration of your nectarous speech,

རང་གཞན་དོན་གཉིས་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས།    །

rangzhen dön nyi drubpar jingyi lob

May we blessed to accomplish our own and others’ purpose.

ཞེས་པའང་ཝ་ཤུར་ཚེ་མགོན་གྱི་དགེ་ཀརྨ་དང་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཟུང་ནས་བསྐུར་ངོར་འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་པས་སྨྲས་པ་དགེ་ལེགས་དང་ལྡན་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག།  །

Thus, Jamyang Chökyi Lodrö spoke these words in response to a request from Karma and Könchok, two monks of Washur Tsé Monastery. May it prove virtuous and excellent!
