A Prayer to Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche

ཀུན་ཁྱབ་འགྱུར་མེད་རང་བྱུང་རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས། །

künkhyab gyurmé rangjung dorjé sem

You reveal the natural state of self-arisen Vajrasattva,

གནས་ལུགས་སྟོན་མཛད་ཐེག་མཆོག་རྫོགས་པ་ཆེའི། །

neluk töndzé tekchok dzogpa ché

All-pervasive and unchanging, and hoist the sublime victory-banner

རྩ་བ་ཡན་ལག་བསྟན་པའི་རྒྱལ་མཚན་མཆོག །

tsawa yenlak tenpé gyaltsen chok

Of the root and branch teachings of the Great Perfection, supreme among vehicles—

སྒྲེང་མཛད་དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མར་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

dreng dzé palden lamar solwa deb

Glorious guru, to you I pray!

ཞེས་པའང་རྒྱལ་དབང་པདྨའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་པ་ཟབ་གཏེར་སྤྱོད་པ་པད་རྒྱལ་གླིང་པས་ཆེད་དུ་བསྐུལ་བཞིན་རང་ཉིད་ཀྱི་བརྗོད་པ་དོན་དང་ལྡན་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག། །།

I (Dilgo Khyentse) spoke this myself in accordance with a request from Pegyal Lingpa, a practitioner of profound treasures and upholder of the enlightened activities of Padmākara, king of the victorious ones. May its meaning be actualized!
