Prayer for the Long Life of His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama

༧རྒྱལ་བ་ཀུན་གྱི་ཐུགས་རྗེ་གཅིག་འདུས་པ། །

gyalwa kun gyi tukjé chik düpa

Embodiment of all the victorious buddhas’ compassion,

དེང་འདིར་སྡོམ་བརྩོན་དམ་པའི་རྣམ་རོལ་གྱིས། །

deng dir dom tsön dampé namrol gyi

Manifesting here and now as a noble holder of the vows,

འཇིག་རྟེན་ཞི་བདེའི་དཔལ་ལ་འགོད་མཛད་པའི། །

jikten zhi dé pal la gö dzepé

To bring the splendour of peace and happiness to the world—

ཡོངས་རྫོགས་བསྟན་པའི་བདག་པོར་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ། །

yong dzok tenpé dakpor zhap ten söl

Master of all the teachings, may your life remain secure!
