Prayer for the Long Life of Khandro Tāre Lhamo

སྐུ་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བའི་ཡུམ་གཅིག་མཁའ་སྤྱོད་མ། །

ku sum gyalwé yum chik khachö ma

Khecarī, single mother of the victorious buddhas of the three kāyas,

ཞིང་འདིར་འགྲོ་ངོར་མི་མོའི་གཟུགས་བཟུང་ནས། །

zhing dir dro ngor mimö zuk zung né

Appearing in female human form for the sake of beings in this realm,

དཔག་ཡས་ཕན་བདེའི་སྒོ་འཕར་འབྱེད་པའི་གཉེན། །

pakyé pendé gopar jepé nyen

A friend who opens the door onto untold benefit and happiness—

ཏཱ་རེ་དེ་ཝིའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

taré dé wi zhab la solwa deb

Tāre Devī, at your feet I pray!

རགས་ལུས་མི་ཤིགས་དྭངས་མའི་དཔྱིད་དུ་སྨིན། །

rak lü mishik dangmé chi du min

Coarse body matured into the perfection of the indestructible subtle essence,

ལས་རླུང་གཡོ་བ་དྷཱུ་ཏིའི་ལྷུམས་སུ་ཞུགས། །

lé lung yowa dhuti lhum su zhuk

Turbulent karmic winds drawn into the womb-like sanctuary of the avadhūti,

ཀུན་རྟོག་གཡོ་བ་ཆོས་སྐུའི་ངོ་བོར་སྨིན། །

küntok yowa chökü ngowor min

And agitated thoughts and conceptions matured into dharmakāya nature—

ཁྱེད་དང་སྐལ་བ་མཉམ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

khyé dang kalwa nyampar jingyi lob

Grant your blessings, so that our fortune may become the equal of yours!

གང་སྐུ་འཕོ་མེད་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཆོས་བདུན་ལྡན། །

gang ku pomé dorjé chödün den

May your form be beyond transference, endowed with the seven vajra qualities,

ཚེ་མཐའ་ཡས་པའི་མགོན་བཞིན་འཚོ་བཞེས་གསོལ། །

tsé tayepé gön zhin tso zhé sol

So that you abide just like Amitāyus, Lord of Boundless Life, himself!

བཟང་པོའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་རྟ་བདུན་ཟེར་ཕྲེང་གིས། །

zangpö trinlé ta dün zer treng gi

And may the garlanded rays of your sun-like beneficence

འགྲོ་ཁམས་ལྷ་ལམ་ཁྱོན་ཀུན་འགེངས་གྱུར་ཅིག །

dro kham lha lam khyön kün geng gyur chik

Reach out to fill the heavenly skies throughout this world!

ཅེས་ངག་དབང་བློ་གྲོས་མཚུངས་མེད་ཀྱིས་ཐོལ་བྱུང་དུ་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པ་རྒྱལ་བ་སྲས་བཅས་རྣམས་ཀྱི་བདེན་པའི་མཐུས་དེ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་འགྲུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག། །དགེའོ།། །།

Thus Ngawang Lodrö Tsungme spontaneously composed this prayer. May it be fulfilled through the veritable power of the victorious buddhas and their heirs! Virtue!
