A Prayer to Tārā

Śvaṃ a.

སྒྱུ་ལུས་དག་པ་རབ་འབྱམས་ཞིང་། །

gyulü dakpa rabjam zhing

In the heart of the myriad pure realms of my pure illusory body

སྙིང་དབུས་གཡུ་ལོ་བཀོད་པ་ནས། །

nying ü yu lo köpa né

Lies the Array of Turquoise Petals.

རིག་པ་སྐུ་གསུམ་རྗེ་བཙུན་མ། །

rigpa ku sum jetsünma

Here my awareness, embodiment of the three kāyas, appears as the Noble Lady Tārā

རྟོག་ཚོགས་ཏ་རེ་ཉི་ཤུ་གཅིག །

toktsok taré nyishu chik

And the collections of consciousness the Twenty-one Tārās.

འདུ་འབྲལ་མེད་པར་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །

dudral mepar solwa deb

Within the realization of our inseparability, I supplicate you!

གཟུང་འཛིན་ལས་བྱུང་འཇིགས་པ་བརྒྱད། །

zungdzin lé jung jikpa gyé

Protect me from the eight fears that arise from dualistic fixation upon subject and object,

སྐྱོབས་ཤིག་འདོད་དོན་ལྷུན་འགྲུབ་མཛོད། །

kyob shik dödön lhündrub dzö

Grant the spontaneous fulfilment of wishes

ཚོགས་ཆེན་ས་ལ་ལྷུན་རྫོགས་ཤོག །

tsokchen sa la lhün dzok shok

And accomplishment of the ground of great convention.

མངྒ་ལཾ། པདྨ་དངོས་གྲུབ་རོལ་བའི་རྡ་རྗེས་གསུངས་སོ།།
