Paloma Lopez Landry grew up with Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche who sent her to study Tibetan language in Kathmandu, Nepal. She stayed there from 1999 to 2002, a year of which was spent studying at the Rangjung Yeshe Institute. Since 2002 she has been the full-time translator and attendant for Khentrul Lodrö T'hayé Rinpoche. While primarily an oral interpreter, she has also translated multiple sādhanas, various pith instructions, Khentrul Rinpoche's book on mind training, the entire Dzogchen section of His Holiness Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche's collected works, and Volume I of His Holiness's life story.
