༄༅། །ལས་བུམ་དམེ་བརྩེགས་བསྒྲུབ་པ།

Blessing the Activity Vase by Means of Ucchuṣma

according to the tradition of Dodrupchen Monastery

ལས་བུམ་དུ་ཁྲོ་རྒྱལ་དམེ་བ་བརྩེགས་པ་སྐད་ཅིག་གིས་གསལ་བའི་ཐུགས་ཀའི་འོད་ཟེར་འཕྲོ་འདུས་དོན་གཉིས་མཛད།

lé bum du trogyal mewa tsekpa kechik gi salwé tukké özer trodü dön nyi dzé

In an instant, Ucchuṣma clearly appears inside the activity vase. Rays of light emanate from his heart and then are reabsorbed, accomplishing the two types of benefit.

སྐུའི་ཆ་ཐམས་ཅད་ནས་དག་བྱེད་བདུད་རྩིའི་རྒྱུན་བབས་པས་བུམ་པ་གང་བར་གྱུར།

kü cha tamché né dak jé dütsi gyün babpé bumpa gangwar gyur

From the whole of his body flows a stream of purifying amṛta, which fills the vase.

ཨོཾ་ཨུཤྩི་ཊ་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། ཨུ་ཊ་མི་ཊ་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། མོན་ཊ་ཀྲོ་ཏ་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། ཨ་ཀོ་ཀྲོ་ཏ་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། ཨ་བྷུ་ཀྲོ་ཏ་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། ཨུ་ཊ་ཤ་ཏ་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། ཨེ་ལིང་ཨེ་ཊ་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། ལ་མོན་ཊ་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། ཨས་ནི་པིས་ནི་ཊ་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། ཨོཾ་བྷུར་ཀུར་མ་ཧཱ་པྲ་ཎ་ཡེ་བྷུར་ཙི་བྷུར་ཀུ་བི་མ་ལེ་ཨུ་ཙུཥྨ་ཀྲོ་དྷ་ཧཱུྂ་ཕཊ་ཏོར་ཡ་ཏོར་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།

om u tsi taya torya torya soha | u ta mi taya torya torya soha | mön ta krotaya torya torya soha | a ko krotaya torya torya soha | a bhu krotaya torya torya soha | u ta shataya torya torya soha | e ling etaya torya torya soha | la mön taya torya torya soha | e ni pi ni taya torya torya soha | om bhurkur maha pranayé bhur tsi bhur ku bimalé utsukma krodharaja hung pé torya torya soha

oṃ i ca ṭaya torya torya svāhā | u ṭa mi ṭaya torya torya svāhā | mon ṭa krodhaya torya torya svāhā | a ka krodhaya torya torya svāhā | a bhu krodhaya torya torya svāhā | u ta śa ṭaya torya torya svāhā | e liṅ e ṭaya torya torya svāhā | la mon ṭaya torya torya svāhā | a ni pi ni ṭaya torya torya svāhā | oṃ bhur kur mahāprāṇāya bhur ci bhur ki vimala ucchuṣma krodharāja hūṃ phaṭ torya torya svāhā ||

ཞེས་ཅི་ནུས་བཟླས་མཐར།

Recite this as many times as you can.

Offering and Praise

ཨཱོྂ་ཨུ་ཙུཥྨ་ཀྲོ་དྷ་རཱ་ཛ་ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་བཛྲ་ཨརྒྷཾ་པཱདྱཾ་པུཥྤེ་དྷཱུཔེ་ཨཱ་ལོ་ཀེ་གནྡྷེ་ནཻ་ཝེ་དྱ་ཤབྡ་པྲ་ཏཱི་ཙྪ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།

om utsukma krodharadza sapariwara benza argham padam pupé dhupé aloké gendhé nevidé shapta pratitsa soha

oṃ ucchuṣma krodharāja saparivāra vajra arghaṃ pādyaṃ puṣpe dhūpe āloke gandhe naivedye śabda pratīccha svāhā

བདག་མེད་ལྟ་བའི་ཧེ་རུ་ཀས།།

dakmé tawé heruké

When the heruka of the view of selflessness

བདག་ལྟའི་རཱུ་ཏྲ་བསྒྲལ་བ་ཚེ།།

dakté rutra dralwa tsé

Liberated the rudra of the view of self,

སྣམ་ནས་ཁྲོ་བོའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་བྱུང་༎

nam né trowö gyalpo jung

You arose as the King of Wrathful Ones.

གདུལ་དཀའ་འདུལ་མཛད་ཉིད་ལ་བསྟོད།། ཅེས་མཆོད་བསྟོད་དང་།

dulka duldzé nyi la tö

To you, taming those who are difficult to tame, I pay homage!

Confession of Mistakes

ཨཱོྂ་བཛྲ་ས་ཏྭ་ས་མ་ཡ་སོགས་ཡི་གེ་བརྒྱ་པས་ནོངས་པ་བཤགས་ལ།

om benza sato samaya....

oṃ vajrasattva samayam...

Confess mistakes with the hundred-syllable mantra.

ལས་བུམ་གྱི་ལྷ་འོད་དུ་ཞུ་ནས་ཁྲོ་བོའི་རྡུལ་ཕྲ་རབ་ཏུ་གྱུར།

lé bum gyi lha ö du zhu né trowö dul trarab tu gyur

The deities inside the activity vase melt into light and transform into tiny wrathful ones.

གཞུང་གི་བརྒྱུད་འདེབས་ལ་འཇུག།

Then continue with the lineage prayers as found in the main text.
