Supplement to the Clouds of Nectar Prayer from Lama Yangtik1

Add the following after the verse for the great omniscient one [i.e., Longchen Rabjam]:
མཁས་གྲུབ་ཆེན་པོ་ཁྱབ་བརྡལ་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ལ། །
khedrub chenpo khyabdal lhündrub la
Great learned and accomplished Khyabdal Lhundrup,2
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
ཤེས་ཉམས་ཡིད་དཔྱོད་ལས་འདས་རིག་པའི་གཤིས། །
shenyam yichö lé dé rigpé shi
Grant your blessings, that I might realize here and now

The condition of rigpa beyond mind-experience and speculation.

Supreme heir of the victorious ones Drakpa Özer,3
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

སྡེ་གསུམ་ཀློང་དགུའི་མན་ངག་སྙིང་པོའི་སྲོལ། །

The way of essential instructions on the three classes and nine spaces.

At the expanse of Samantabhadra’s realization in which whatever arises is freed by itself.

sheja künkhyen dawa drakpa la
Knower of all that is knowable Dawa Drakpa,5

གཟུང་འཛིན་གཉིས་སྣང་འཁྲུལ་པའི་བག་ཆགས་ཀུན། །
zungdzin nyinang trulpé bakchak kün
Grant your blessings, that I might eliminate here and now

All the habitual patterns of delusion and dualistic perception.
མཚུངས་མེད་ཀུན་དགའ་རྒྱལ་མཚན་དཔལ་བཟང་ལ། །
tsungmé kün ga gyaltsen pal zang la
Incomparable Kunga Gyaltsen Palzang,7
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

སྟོང་ཉིད་སྙིང་རྗེའི་གྲུ་ཡིས་སྲིད་མཚོ་ལས། །
tongnyi nyingjé dru yi si tso lé
Grant your blessings, that I might be freed here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་སྒྲོལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du drolwar jingyi lob
From the ocean of existence on the boat of emptiness and compassion.
རིག་འཛིན་ཆེན་པོ་སྣ་ཚོགས་རང་གྲོལ་ལ། །
rigdzin chenpo natsok rangdrol la
Great vidyādhara Natsok Rangdrol,8
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

སྣང་སེམས་རོ་མཉམ་གདོད་མའི་གཤིས་ལུགས་ཆེ། །
nang sem ronyam dömé shi luk ché
Grant your blessings, that I might realize here and now

The great primordial nature in which appearances and mind are of one taste.
སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ་མཆོག་བསྟན་འཛིན་གྲགས་པ་ལ། །
trulpé ku chok tendzin drakpa la
Supreme nirmāṇakāya Tendzin Drakpa,9
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

རྟོགས་གྲོལ་དུས་མཉམ་བློ་བྲལ་གཉུག་མའི་གཤིས། །
tok drol dünyam lodral nyukmé shi
Grant your blessings, that I might realize here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་རྟོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

The genuine condition of simultaneous realization and liberation beyond the mind.
མཁས་གྲུབ་ཆེན་པོ་མདོ་སྔགས་བསྟན་འཛིན་ལ། །
khedrub chenpo do ngak tendzin la
Great learned and accomplished Do-ngak Tendzin,10
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
དོན་གཉིས་མཐར་ཕྱིན་རྣམ་གྲོལ་ཡིད་བཞིན་གཏེར། །
dön nyi tarchin namdrol yizhin ter
Grant your blessings, that I might master here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་འབྱོང་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du jongwar jingyi lob
The wish-fulfilling treasury of liberation in which the twofold aim is perfected.
གསང་འཛིན་མགོན་པོ་ཕྲིན་ལས་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ལ། །
sang dzin gönpo trinlé lhündrub la
Protector and keeper of secrets Trinlé Lhundrup,11
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
འཁོར་འདས་ཆོས་ཀུན་ཐིག་ལེ་ཉག་གཅིག་ཏུ། །
khordé chö kün tiklé nyakchik tu
Grant your blessings, that I might perfect here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་རྫོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du dzokpar jingyi lob
All the phenomena of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa within the single all-encompassing sphere of reality.
པདྨའི་ཞལ་ཚབ་གཏེར་བདག་གླིང་པ་ལ། །
pemé zhal tsab terdak lingpa la
Representative of the Lotus-Born, Terdak Lingpa,12
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
རྣམ་བཞིའི་རིག་འཛིན་གྲུབ་པའི་གོ་འཕང་མཆོག །
nam zhi rigdzin drubpé gopang chok
Grant your blessings, that I might attain here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་ཐོབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du tobpar jingyi lob
The supreme state of a fourfold vidyādhara adept.
ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་མོ་མི་འགྱུར་དཔལ་སྒྲོན་ལ། །
kuntuzangmo mingyur pal drön la
Samantabhadrī in person, Mingyur Paldrön,13
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

The supreme secret treasury of realization, luminosity’s vast expanse.
བི་མའི་རྣམ་འཕྲུལ་རིན་ཆེན་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་ལ། །
bi mé namtrul rinchen namgyal la
Emanation of Vimalamitra, Rinchen Namgyal,14
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
གྲོལ་བ་དྲུག་ལྡན་རྡོ་རྗེའི་རྩེ་མོའི་ལམ། །
drolwa drukden dorjé tsemö lam
Grant your blessings, that I might traverse here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་བགྲོད་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du dröpar jingyi lob
The path of the vajra pinnacle endowed with sixfold freedom.
མཁན་ཆེན་ཨོ་རྒྱན་བསྟན་འཛིན་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལ། །
khenchen orgyen tendzin dorjé la
Great abbot Orgyen Tendzin Dorje,15
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

འོད་གསལ་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ཆོས་ཉིད་མངོན་སུམ་ལམ། །
ösal lhündrub chönyi ngönsum lam
Grant your blessings, that I might perceive here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་མཐོང་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du tongwar jingyi lob
The way of directly manifest reality, spontaneously present clear light.
ངེས་གསང་ལམ་སྟོན་ཕྲིན་ལས་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་ལ། །
ngé sang lam tön trinlé namgyal la
Guide to the definitive secret path, Trinlé Namgyal,16
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik

ཉམས་སྣང་གོང་འཕེལ་ལྔ་ལྡན་ཚོམ་བུའི་དཀྱིལ། །
nyam nang gongpel ngaden tsombü kyil
Grant your blessings, that I might perceive here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་མཐོང་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du tongwar jingyi lob
The five-point maṇḍala of increased experience.
ཐར་གླིང་སྣང་མཛད་ཕྲིན་ལས་ཆོས་སྒྲོན་ལ། །
tar ling nang dzetrin lé chö drön la
Illuminator of the sanctuary of liberation, Trinlé Chödrön,17
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
རིག་པ་ཚད་ཕེབས་རང་སྣང་ལོངས་སྐུའི་ཞིང་། །
rigpa tsepeb rangnang longkü zhing
Grant your blessings, that I might travel here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་བགྲོད་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du dröpar jingyi lob
To the self-manifest sambhogakāya realm of rigpa’s full measure.
ཀློང་ཆེན་གཉིས་པ་རྡོ་རྗེ་གཟི་བརྗིད་ལ། །
longchen nyipa dorjé ziji la
Second Longchen Rabjam, Dorje Ziji,18
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
ཆོས་ཟད་བློ་འདས་གཞོན་ནུ་བུམ་སྐུའི་ཀློང་། །
chö zé lodé zhönnu bumkü long
Grant your blessings, that I might release here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་གྲོལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du drolwar jingyi lob
The expanse of the youthful vase body, phenomenal exhaustion beyond the mind.
རིགས་ཀུན་བདག་པོ་པདྨ་གར་དབང་ལ། །
rik kün dakpo pema gar wang la
Lord of all buddha families, Pema Garwang,19
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
དགོངས་བརྒྱུད་བྱིན་རླབས་འཕོ་བའི་དབང་བསྐུར་གྱིས། །
gonggyü jinlab powé wangkur gyi
Grant your blessings, that I might be ripened here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་སྨིན་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du minpar jingyi lob
Through the empowerment whereby the blessings of the mind-direct lineage are transferred.20
Then continue with:
གཞན་ཡང་ཕྱོགས་དུས་རྒྱལ་བ་སྲས་དང་བཅས། །
zhenyang chok dü gyalwa sé dangché
To all the victors and their heirs in the ten directions too...etc.21
སོགས་དཀྱུས་ལ་འཇུག་གོ།
ཅེས་པའང་ཐེག་པ་མཆོག་ལ་མོས་པས་སྤྱོད་པ་སྔགས་བན་འགྱུར་མེད་པདྨ་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་གྱིས་བདེ་ཆེན་འོད་གསལ་ཕུག་ནས་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པ་དགེ།། །།
Gyurme Pema Namgyal, a monk-mantrin who acts out of devotion for the supreme vehicle, prayed in this way at the Dechen Ösal Cave. May it prove virtuous!
