གདོད་མའི་མགོན་པོ་ཀུན་བཟང་ཡབ་ཡུམ་ལ། །
dömé gönpo kunzang yabyum la
Primordial protector, Samantabhadra and consort,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
རང་བྱུང་སེམས་ཉིད་འོད་གསལ་སྙིང་པོའི་དོན། །
rangjung semnyi ösal nyingpö dön
Grant your blessings, that I might realize here and now

Mind’s self-arisen nature, meaning of the luminous essence.
ལྷུན་གྲུབ་རྒྱལ་བ་ཞི་ཁྲོ་རབ་འབྱམས་ལ། །
lhündrub gyalwa zhitro rabjam la
Infinite peaceful and wrathful victors, spontaneously present,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

རང་གསལ་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྒྲོན་མེ་འོད་པོ་ཆེ། །
rangsal yeshe drönmé öpo ché
Grant your blessings, that I might see here and now

The great radiant lamp of naturally luminous wisdom.
བདེ་ཆེན་རྒྱལ་པོ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་ཆེན་ལ། །
dechen gyalpo dorjé chang chen la
Great Vajradhara, king of great bliss,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

Illusory embodiment of wisdom, Vajrasattva,

མི་འགྱུར་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་བདེ་ཆེན་འོག་མིན་དུ། །

To Akaniṣṭha—changeless, spontaneous, great bliss.
དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་མངའ་བདག་ཕྱག་ན་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལ། །
kyilkhor ngadak chak na dorjé la
Sovereign of the maṇḍala, Vajrapāṇi,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

གསང་སྔགས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚེ་གཅིག་སངས་རྒྱས་ལམ། །
sang ngak gyalpo tsé chik sangye lam
Grant your blessings, that I might traverse here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་བགྲོད་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

The path of king-like secret mantra, which brings enlightenment in a single lifetime.
རྒྱལ་བའི་རྣམ་འཕྲུལ་དགའ་རབ་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལ། །
gyalwé namtrul garab dorjé la
Emanation of the victorious, Garab Dorje,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

རྡོས་བཅས་ཕུང་པོ་ཡེ་ཤེས་འོད་ལུས་སུ། །
dö ché pungpo yeshe ö lü su
Grant your blessings, that I might liberate here and now

This physical form into a body of wisdom light.
མཁྱེན་རབ་སྤྲུལ་པ་འཇམ་དཔལ་བཤེས་གཉེན་ལ། །
khyen rab trulpa jampal shenyen la
Wisdom emanation, Mañjuśrīmitra,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

ལས་དང་ཉོན་མོངས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ལས། །
lé dang nyönmong dukngal gyatso lé
Grant your blessings, that I may be freed here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་སྒྲོལ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

From the ocean of suffering, karma and the afflictions.
བློ་མཆོག་མངའ་བ་ཤྲཱྀ་སིངྷ་ལ། །
lo chok ngawa shiri singha la
Possessor of supreme intelligence, Śrī Siṃha,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

ཆོས་ཚུལ་རྒྱ་མཚོ་གསུང་རབ་ནོར་བུའི་གླིང༌། །
chö tsul gyatso sung rab norbü ling

To the jewelled isle of scripture in an ocean of Dharma.
དངོས་གྲུབ་མཆོག་བརྙེས་ཛྙཱ་ན་སཱུ་ཏྲ་ལ། །
ngödrub chok nyé jnana su tra la
Master of supreme attainment, Jñānasūtra,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་ཡིད་བཞིན་སྤྲིན། །
chok dang tünmong ngödrub yizhin trin
Grant your blessings, that I might accomplish here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du drubpar jingyi lob
Clouds of wish-fulfilling siddhis, ordinary and supreme.
མཁས་གྲུབ་ཆེན་པོ་བི་མ་མི་ཏྲ་ལ། །
khedrub chenpo bi ma mi tra la
Great learned and accomplished one, Vimalamitra,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
མངོན་སུམ་འོད་གསལ་སྣང་བ་རྣམ་པ་བཞི། །
ngönsum ösal nangwa nampa zhi
Grant your blessings, that I might master here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་འབྱོངས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du jongpar jingyi lob
The four visions of directly manifest clear light.1
རང་བྱུང་ཆེན་པོ་པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས་ལ། །
rangjung chenpo pema jungné la
Great self-arisen Padmasambhava, Lotus Born,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
བགེགས་དང་ལོག་འདྲེན་བར་ཆད་མ་ལུས་པ། །
gek dang lokdren barché malüpa
Grant your blessings, that I might pacify here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་ཞི་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརློབས། །
danta nyi du zhiwar jin gyi lob
All obstructing forces, obstacles and those who lead astray.
སེམས་ཉིད་དབང་ཐོབ་ཏིང་འཛིན་བཟང་པོ་ལ། །
semnyi wang tob tingdzin zangpo la
Tingdzin Zangpo, who was empowered with mind’s nature,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
ཉིན་མཚན་གཉིས་མེད་འོད་གསལ་ཆེན་པོའི་ངང༌། །
nyintsen nyimé ösal chenpö ngang
Grant your blessings, that I might master here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་འབྱོངས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du jongpar jingyi lob
The experience of great luminosity that continues day and night.
ཚོགས་ཆེན་གཉིས་རྫོགས་ཆོས་རྒྱལ་ཁྲི་སྲོང་ལ། །
tsokchen nyi dzok chögyal trisong la
Tri Song, Dharma-king who perfected great twofold accumulation,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱྀས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gy-i zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
འཕགས་པའི་ནོར་བདུན་ཡོན་ཏན་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་མཆོག །
pakpé nor dün yönten gyalsi chok
Grant your blessings, that I might acquire here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་ཐོབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du tobpar jingyi lob
The sublime dominion of the seven noble riches.2
ཐར་གླིང་སྣང་བྱེད་ལྡང་མ་ལྷུན་རྒྱལ་ལ། །
tar ling nangjé dang ma lhün gyal la
Illuminator of the isle of liberation, Dangma Lhungyal,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
འགྲོ་ཀུན་ཕྱམ་ཅིག་བྱང་ཆུབ་སྙིང་པོའི་སར། །
dro kün cham chik changchub nyingpö sar
Grant your blessings, that I might travel here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་བགྲོད་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

To the site of the simultaneous awakening of all beings.
འོད་གསལ་ལུས་གྲུབ་སེང་གེ་དབང་ཕྱུག་ལ། །
ösal lü drub sengé wangchuk la
Sengge Wangchuk, who attained a body of clear light,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
འཁྲུལ་སྣང་རང་ཟད་གདོད་མའི་གཞི་དབྱིངས་སུ། །
trulnang rang zé dömé zhi ying su
Grant your blessings, that I might enter here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་འཇུག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du jukpar jingyi lob
The space of the primordial ground in which delusion naturally disappears.
ལྷུན་གྲུབ་རྒྱལ་པོ་རྒྱལ་བ་ཞང་སྟོང་ལ། །
lhündrub gyalpo gyalwa zhang tong la
Sovereign of spontaneous presence, Gyalwa Zhangtön,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
སྐུ་དང་ཡེ་ཤེས་འདུ་འབྲལ་མེད་པའི་དོན། །
ku dang yeshe dudral mepé dön
Grant your blessings, that I might realize here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་རྟོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

The meaning of the inseparable unity of kāyas and wisdoms.
གསུང་རབ་མཛོད་བརྙེས་མཁས་པ་ཉི་འབུམ་ལ། །
sung rab dzö nyé khepa nyi bum la
Khepa Nyibum, who acquired a treasury of teachings,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
ཡེ་ཤེས་ཉི་མས་མ་རིག་མུན་པའི་ཚོགས། །
yeshe nyimé marik münpé tsok
Grant your blessings, that I might dispel here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་སངས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du sangpar jingyi lob
The darkness of ignorance with the wisdom sun.
དམ་ཆོས་རྒྱས་མཛད་གུ་རུ་ཇོ་འབེར་ལ། །
damchö gyé dzé guru jo ber la
Guru Jober, who helped the sacred Dharma to flourish,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
གཞན་དོན་རྫོགས་པའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་རླབས་པོ་ཆེ། །
zhendön dzokpé trinlé labpo ché
Grant your blessings, that I might accomplish here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་འགྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du drubpar jingyi lob
Great waves of activity for the perfect avail of others.
གཟུང་འཛིན་འཁྲུལ་ཞིག་སེང་གེ་རྒྱབ་པ་ལ། །
zungdzin trulzhik sengé gyabpa la
Senggé Gyabpa, vanquisher of dualistic delusion,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །
solwa deb so tukjé chen gyi zik
To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
འཁོར་བའི་འཁྲུལ་སྣང་ཚེ་འདིའི་ཞེན་པ་ཀུན། །
khorwé trulnang tsé di zhenpa kün
Grant your blessings, that I might put an end here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་ཟད་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du zepar jingyi lob
To all saṃsāric delusion and attachment to this life.
དངོས་གྲུབ་མཆོག་བརྙེས་གྲུབ་ཆེན་མེ་ལོང་ལ། །
ngödrub chok nyé drubchen melong la
Drupchen Melong Dorje, who gained the supreme siddhi,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

དོན་གཉིས་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་འོད་གསལ་ཆོས་ཉིད་ངང༌། །
dön nyi lhündrub ösal chönyi ngang
Grant your blessings, that I might pass here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་ཕྱིན་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du chinpar jingyi lob
To the luminous dharmatā in which twofold benefit is spontaneously accomplished.
རིག་འཛིན་ཆེན་པོ་ཀུ་མ་རཱ་ཛ་ལ། །
rigdzin chenpo ku ma radza la
Great vidyādhara Kumārādza,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

To you I pray: look on me with eyes of compassion!
རྟོགས་པའི་འོད་འབར་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྲིན་ཕུང་མཆོག །
tokpé öbar tukjé trinpung chok
Grant your blessings, that I might bring about here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་འཆར་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
danta nyi du charwar jingyi lob
The ascent of billowing clouds of compassion in realization’s glare.
འོད་གསལ་སྒྱུ་མ་སྣ་ཚོགས་རང་གྲོལ་ལ། །
ösal gyuma natsok rangdrol la
Master of illusory clear light, Natsok Rangdrol,3
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

སྣང་སྲིད་སྣོད་བཅུད་རྨི་ལམ་སྒྱུ་མ་རུ། །
nangsi nöchü milam gyuma ru
Grant your blessings, that I might perfectly recognize here and now
ད་ལྟ་ཉིད་དུ་འབྱོངས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

How appearance and existence, environment and inhabitants, are dreamlike, illusory.

Loving kindness, compassion and sublime bodhicitta.
མཁའ་འགྲོའི་དབང་ཕྱུག་བྱ་བྲལ་ཆོས་རྗེ་ལ། །
khandrö wangchuk jadral chöjé la
Chatral Chöjé, powerful lord of the ḍākinīs,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

འོད་གསལ་རྡོ་རྗེ་སྙིང་པོའི་བསྟན་པ་འདི། །

This teaching of the luminous vajra essence.
བྱ་བཏང་ཆེན་པོ་སངས་རྒྱས་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ལ། །
ja tang chenpo sangye tashi la
Great renunciant Sangye Tashi
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

སྙིང་པོ་མེད་པ་ཚེ་འདིའི་བྱ་བ་ཀུན། །
nyingpo mé pa tsé di jawa kün
Grant your blessings, that I might relinquish here and now

All the trivial, meaningless affairs of this life.
ཀུན་སྤངས་ཆེན་པོ་གུ་ཎ་ཤྲཱི་ལ། །
künpang chenpo gu na shri la
Great surrenderor of everything Guṇaśrī,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

འཁོར་འདས་ཆོས་ཀུན་ཐིག་ལེ་ཉག་གཅིག་ཏུ། །
khordé chö kün tiklé nyakchik tu

The unbounded wholeness of all the phenomena of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa.

drowé gönpo sangye gyaltsen la
Guardian of beings Sangyé Gyaltsen,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱན་གྱིས་གཟིགས། །

དབྱིངས་རིག་དབྱེར་མེད་འོད་གསལ་ཆོས་སྐུའི་དོན། །

We wander in existence through unknowing’s force.

milam tabü trulkhor nyam ré tak
How exhausting, this dreamlike cycle of delusion!
འདི་ལ་སྐྱབས་དང་སྐྱོབ་པ་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
di la kyab dang kyobpa dzé du sol
Bring us refuge and protection from this, I pray.
བདག་དང་མཐའ་ཡས་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི། །
dak dang tayé semchen tamché kyi
For me and all the other countless sentient beings
འཁོར་བའི་རྒྱ་མཚོ་མཐའ་མེད་བརྒལ་དཀའ་བར། །
khorwé gyatso tamé gal kawar
In the limitless ocean of saṃsāra, so hard to cross,
ཡེ་ཤེས་གྲུ་ཆེན་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡིས། །

Are like a vast mountain of delusive, dualistic perception.

From tasks that are but trivial and mundane,
བདག་གི་ཡིད་འདི་རབ་ཏུ་བཟློག་ནས་ཀྱང༌། །
dak gi yi di rabtu dok né kyang
In which effort leads only to misery and affliction,
ཉིན་མཚན་ཆོས་ཀྱིས་འདའ་བར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
nyintsen chö kyi dawar dzé du sol
And devote our days and nights instead to Dharma.
ཚུལ་མིན་ཡིད་བྱེད་ཆུ་རླབས་གཉེར་འདྲ་ཞིང༌། །
tsul min yi jé chu lab nyer dra zhing
As incorrect patterns of mind undulate like waves,
ཀུན་རྟོག་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཡུལ་ལྔའི་རྗེས་སུ་འབྲང༌། །
küntok natsok yul ngé jesu drang
All manner of thought chases objects of the senses,
ཚོགས་བརྒྱད་བག་ཆགས་ཀུན་གཞི་བཅས་པ་ཀུན། །
tsok gyé bakchak künzhi chepa kün
Help us bring our eight consciousnesses, habits and ālaya
ཆོས་ཀྱི་དབྱིངས་སུ་ཞི་བར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །

To peacefulness within the basic space of reality, I pray.
རྟོག་བཅས་བག་ཆགས་འདོད་པའི་སེམས་ཉོན་མོངས། །

The afflicted mind of Desire, conceptual and habitual,
གསལ་བ་གཟུགས་དང་མི་རྟོག་གཟུགས་མེད་ཀྱི། །

Clarity in Form and non-conceptuality in the Formless—
སྲིད་པའི་སེམས་གང་བག་ཆགས་རྗེས་འབྲངས་པ། །

Help us to purify any such conditioned form of mind

Help us turn away from the inferior attitude of practising
གཅིག་པུར་ཞི་བ་གཉེར་ལས་ལྡོག་ནས་ཀྱང༌། །
chikpur zhiwa nyer lé dok né kyang
Out of selfish concern and seeking peace in isolation,
ཕྱི་ནང་གསང་བའི་ཆོས་མཆོག་ལམ་ཞུགས་ཏེ། །
chi nang sangwé chö chok lam zhuk té
Set out on the path of supreme Dharma, outer, inner and secret,
རླབས་ཆེན་གཞན་དོན་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
lab chen zhendön drubpar dzé du sol
And accomplish vase waves of benefit for others, I pray.
ལམ་གོལ་ལམ་ལོག་དམན་པའི་འགྲོ་ཀུན་གྱི། །
lamgol lam lok menpé dro kün gyi
Help us purify the karma, afflictions and habitual patterns
ལས་དང་ཉོན་མོངས་བག་ཆགས་རབ་སྦྱངས་ཏེ། །
lé dang nyönmong bakchak rab jang té
Of all those beings on inferior, erroneous and false paths,
སེམས་ཉིད་ཡིད་བཞིན་ཐར་པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དུ། །
semnyi yizhin tarpé drongkhyer du
And let us all travel together as one to the citadel
མ་ལུས་ཕྱམ་ཅིག་བགྲོད་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
malü cham chik dröpar dzé du sol
Of liberation, the wish-fulfilling mind-as-such, I pray.
སྒྲིབ་པའི་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཤིན་ཏུ་རྙོག་པ་ཅན། །
dribpé gyatso shintu nyokpachen
Although we have long lingered in the murky ocean
དུས་རིང་ཐོག་མཐའ་མེད་ནས་ཉེར་གནས་ཀྱང༌། །
düring tokta mé né nyer né kyang
Of obscurations, without beginning and without end,
བདག་ཅག་མཐུ་ཡིས་ཐར་པའི་སྐབས་མེད་པས། །
dakchak tu yi tarpé kab mepé
Since we cannot escape it through our powers alone,
བརྩེ་ཆེན་ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་དྲང་བར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
tsé chen khyé kyi drangwar dzé du sol
May you lead us out through your great love, I pray.
ཤུགས་དྲག་བཟོད་པར་དཀའ་བའི་སེམས་ཉོན་མོངས། །
shuk drak zöpar kawé sem nyönmong
The mind’s afflictions are powerful, difficult to endure.
སྡུག་བསྔལ་མང་ལྡན་སྲིད་པའི་ཟུག་རྔུ་ལྡང༌། །
dukngal mangden sipé zukngu dang
They bring much misery, spark the pains of existence.
བག་མེད་གཞན་དབང་ལེ་ལོའི་འཇིགས་པ་ལས། །
bakmé zhenwang lelö jikpa lé
Grant us sure protection, right away, from the terrors
དེ་རིང་ཉིད་ནས་ངེས་པར་བསྐྱབ་ཏུ་གསོལ། །
dering nyi né ngepar kyab tu sol
Of overwhelming carelessness and laziness, I pray.
སྙིང་ནས་སྙིང་པོ་མེད་པའི་ཆོས་རྣམས་ལ། །
nying né nyingpo mé pé chö nam la
Help us to ascertain sincerely how insubstantial things
མི་རྟག་མི་བརྟན་སྒྱུ་མའི་བསླུ་བྲིད་དུ། །
mi tak mi ten gyumé lu dri du
Are impermanent and unstable, illusory deceptions,
ངེས་པར་རྟོགས་ནས་ངེས་འབྱུང་སྐྱོ་ཤས་ཀྱིས། །
ngepar tok né ngejung kyoshé kyi
And to maintain throughout both night and day
ཉིན་མཚན་ཀུན་ཏུ་འདའ་བར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
nyintsen küntu dawar dzé du sol
Disenchantment and determination to be free, I pray.
འཕགས་པའི་རི་ངོགས་དབེན་ཞིང་ཉམས་དགའ་བར། །
pakpé ri ngok wen zhing nyamgawar
On sublime mountainsides, isolated and agreeable,
རིག་དང་མངོན་ཤེས་ཏིང་འཛིན་འགྲུབ་གྱུར་ནས། །
rik dang ngönshé tingdzin drub gyur né
Help us master insight, higher perception and samādhi,
དོན་གཉིས་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་བདེ་ཆེན་མཁའ་དབྱིངས་སུ། །
dön nyi lhündrub dechen khaying su
And reach within this very life the great blissful realm
ཚེ་འདི་ཉིད་ལ་ཕྱིན་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
tsé di nyi la chinpar dzé du sol
Wherein the twofold aim is spontaneously fulfilled.
གཅིག་པུར་བསྲན་ཚུགས་སྒྲུབ་ལ་བརྩོན་པ་དང༌། །
chikpur sen tsuk drub la tsönpa dang
In isolation, may I determinedly apply myself to practice,
ཚེ་འདིའི་ཕྱོགས་སུ་སྐད་ཅིག་མི་ཡེངས་ཤིང༌། །
tsé di chok su kechik mi yeng shing
Without being distracted for a moment toward this life.
གོང་མའི་རྗེས་སྙོགས་དངོས་གྲུབ་མཐར་ཕྱིན་ནས། །
gongmé jé nyok ngödrub tarchin né
May I follow past masters, gain perfect attainment,
རྟག་ཏུ་བླ་མ་མཉེས་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
taktu lama nyepar dzé du sol
And constantly serve and delight my gurus, I pray.
དམ་ཚིག་སྡོམ་པ་ཉམས་ཆག་མེད་པ་དང༌། །
damtsik dompa nyamchak mepa dang
May I not impair or breach my vows and commitments,
ལྟ་སྒོམ་སྤྱོད་འབྲས་མ་ནོར་དོན་རྟོགས་ནས། །
ta gom chö dré manor dön tok né
Correctly realize view, meditation, conduct and fruition,
ཉིན་མཚན་འོད་གསལ་ངང་ལས་མི་གཡོ་ཞིང༌། །
nyintsen ösal ngang lé mi yo zhing
Never waver from the state of clear light, day or night,
རང་གཞན་དོན་གཉིས་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
rangzhen dön nyi drubpar dzé du sol
And accomplish the twofold benefit—of self and others.
སྣང་སྲིད་རྣམ་དག་བསྐྱེད་རྫོགས་མཐར་ཕྱིན་ནས། །
nangsi namdak kyedzok tarchin né
May I master the purity of apparent existence through generation and perfection,
མཁའ་འགྲོ་དམ་ཅན་སྤྲིན་བཞིན་འཐིབས་ནས་ཀྱང༌། །
khandro damchen trin zhin tib né kyang
And as ḍākinīs and oath-bound guardians gather like clouds,
དངོས་གྲུབ་རྣམ་གཉིས་ཆར་བཞིན་འབབ་པ་དང༌། །
ngödrub nam nyi char zhin babpa dang
Let the two types of siddhi descend like rain,
ཕྲིན་ལས་རྣམ་བཞི་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
trinlé nam zhi drubpar dzé du sol
As I accomplish the four modes of activity, I pray.
དག་སྣང་མོས་གུས་ཕྱོགས་མེད་འཆར་བ་དང༌། །
daknang mögü chokmé charwa dang
May I develop boundless pure perception and devotion,
བྱམས་དང་སྙིང་རྗེ་རྒྱུན་ཆད་མེད་པ་དང༌། །
jam dang nyingjé gyünché mepa dang
May loving kindness and compassion flow continuously,
ལྟ་སྒོམ་ཉམས་རྟོགས་ཡོན་ཏན་འབར་བ་དང༌། །
ta gomnyam tok yönten barwa dang
May qualities of experience and realization in view and meditation blaze forth,
འགྲོ་དོན་ཕྱོགས་མེད་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
dro dön chokmé drubpar dzé du sol
And may I bring impartial benefit to beings, I pray.
བདག་གིས་མོས་དགེ་ཕུན་ཚོགས་འདི་ཡིས་ནི། །
dak gi mö gé püntsok di yi ni
Through this, my perfectly virtuous aspiration,
འགྲོ་ཀུན་མ་ལུས་ཕྱམ་ཅིག་ཡོངས་གྲོལ་ནས། །
dro kün malü cham chik yong drol né
May all beings simultaneously find total liberation,
བདེ་ཆེན་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་པོའི་ཞིང༌། །
dechen lhündrub kuntuzangpö zhing
Whereupon may we arrive within this very lifetime
ཚེ་འདི་ཉིད་ལ་ཕྱིན་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། །
tsé di nyi la chinpar dzé du sol
At Samantabhadra’s realm of spontaneous great bliss.
ཚུལ་འདི་བླ་མ་དམ་པ་རྣམས་ལ་མི་ཕྱེད་པའི་དད་པ་ཐོབ་ཅིང་མང་དུ་ཐོས་པའི་ནོར་གྱིས་ཕྱུག་པའི་ཐེག་པ་མཆོག་གི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་པ་ཀློང་ཆེན་རབ་འབྱམས་ཀྱིས། རང་བྱུང་པདྨའི་བཞུགས་གནས་ལྷ་རིང་བྲག་ཏུ་སྦྱར་ནས་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པའོ། །ཕྱོགས་དུས་གནས་སྐབས་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་བཀྲ་ཤིས་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག །དགེའོ། །དགེའོ། །དགེའོ།། །།
Longchen Rabjam, a yogin of the supreme vehicle, rich with the treasure of learning and possessed of unshakeable faith in the sublime masters of this approach, composed this and prayed at Lharing Drak, residence of Self-Arisen Padma. May auspiciousness reign throughout the whole of space and time! Let it be virtuous! Virtuous! Virtuous!
