from A Shower of Precious Blessings

རྩ་བའི་ཐུགས་སྒྲུབ་བཀའ་རྒྱ་གྲོལ་ནས་གཏན་ལ་འབེབས་པར་སྟ་གོན་མཁའ་འགྲོ་དགྱེས་བྱེད་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་ཕྱི་ནང་གསང་གསུམ་བསྒྲིགས་ནས་ལུས་སེམས་བདེ་བའི་ངང་དུ་ཉལ་བའི་རྨི་ལམ་དུ་རྔ་ཡབ་གླིང་དུ་ཕྱིན་ནས་གུ་རུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཡབ་ཡུམ་མཇལ་བའི་དག་སྣང་བྱུང་། ཚུར་འོང་བའི་ལམ་ཁ་རུ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་མང་པོས་ཚོགས་འཁོར་ཕྱི་ནང་གསང་གསུམ་མཛད་ཅིང་གླུ་བྲོ་མང་པོའི་མཐར་ཤིས་བརྗོད་བདེན་ཚིག་གི་གླུ་འདི་བླང་བྱུང་ངོ་། །
Once I had released the seal of secrecy from the root text of the Guru’s Heart Practice (Lamé Tukdrup), in preparation for transcribing and finalizing it in writing, I arranged the outer, inner, and secret auspicious circumstances for delighting the ḍākinīs. I then lay down with blissful body and mind, and in a dream had a pure vision of going to the Cāmara continent and meeting Guru Rinpoche and consort. On my way back, I encountered many ḍākinīs performing an outer, inner, and secret feast gathering. They performed many songs and dances, and at the end they sang these words of auspiciousness and truth:
ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱིཿ འོག་མིན་ཆོས་དབྱིངས་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །
hung hrih, womin chöying podrang du
Hūṃ hrīḥ! In the Unexcelled Palace of dharmadhātu
རྗེ་བཙུན་པདྨ་ཐོད་ཕྲེང་ལ། །
jetsün pema tötreng la
Dwells Lord Lotus Skull Garland,
གྲུབ་ཐོབ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བསྐོར། །
drubtob gyatsö tsok kyi kor
Surrounded by an ocean of accomplished ones.
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa deb so jingyi lob
I pray to you. Please grant your blessings!
འོད་གསལ་དབང་གི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །
ösal wang gi podrang du
In the magnetizing palace of luminosity
དཔལ་ཆེན་རྟ་མགྲིན་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ། །
palchen tamdrin gyalpo la
Dwells the great glorious king Hayagrīva,
ཡི་དམ་ཞི་ཁྲོའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བསྐོར། །
yidam zhitrö tsok kyi kor
Surrounded by an ocean of peaceful and wrathful yidams.
གསོལ་བ་འདེབ་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa deb so jingyi lob
I pray to you. Please grant your blessings!
རྩ་རླུང་དག་པ་མཁའ་སྤྱོད་དུ། །
tsalung dakpa khachö du
In the celestial realms of pure subtle channels and winds,
མཁའ་འགྲོ་གསང་བ་ཡེ་ཤེས་ལ། །
khandro sangwa yeshe la
Dwells the ḍākinī Secret Wisdom,
དཔའ་བོ་ཌཱ་ཀི་རྒྱ་མཚོས་བསྐོར། །
pawo daki gyatsö kor
Amid an ocean of spiritual heroes and ḍākinīs.
གསོལ་བ་འདེབ་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa deb so jingyi lob
I pray to you. Please grant your blessings!
མེ་རི་འབར་བའི་དུར་ཁྲོད་ན། །
meri barwé durtrö na
In the charnel ground, Blazing Fire Mountain,
ཡེ་ཤེས་མགོན་པོ་ཕྱག་བཞི་ལ། །
yeshe gönpo chak zhi la
Dwells the wisdom protector, the Four-Armed One,
ཆོས་སྐྱོང་སྲུང་མའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བསྐོར། །
chökyong sungmé tsok kyi kor
Amid a host of Dharma protectors and guardians.
གསོལ་བ་འདེབ་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa deb so jingyi lob
I pray to you. Please grant your blessings!
ཆོས་དབྱིངས་ཡུམ་གྱི་མཁའ་ཀློང་ན། །
chöying yum gyi kha long na
In the sky-like expanse of the mother, dharmadhātu,
སྔགས་སྲུང་ཨེ་ཀ་ཛཱ་ཊི་ལ། །
ngaksung ekadzati la
Dwells the mantra guardian, Ekajāṭi,
མ་མོ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་འབུམ་གྱིས་བསྐོར། །
mamo khandro bum gyi kor
Amid hundreds of thousands of mamos and ḍākinīs.
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa deb so jingyi lob
I pray to you. Please grant your blessings!
རེ་ལྟོས་སྐྱབས་མཆོག་ཁྱེད་རྣམས་ཀྱི། །
ré tö kyab chok khyé nam kyi
Supreme refuges all, you are my only hope!
ཐུགས་རྗེ་མཐུ་རྩལ་ནུས་པ་ཡིས། །
tukjé tutsal nüpa yi
With your might and power, and your boundless compassion,
ཕྱི་ཡི་ནད་གདོན་འཇིགས་བརྒྱད་ཟློག །
chi yi nedön jikgyé dok
Outwardly avert illness, harmful spirits, and the eight dangers;
ནང་གི་རྩ་རླུང་མདུད་པ་ཁྲོལ། །
nang gi tsalung düpa trol
Inwardly, undo the knots of the subtle channels and winds;
གསང་བའི་རྣམ་རྟོག་བདུད་ཚོགས་ཐུལ། །
sangwé namtok dü tsok tul
Secretly, tame conceptual thoughts, the hordes of demons.
ལུས་ལ་ཚེ་བསོད་གཟི་མདངས་སྤེལ། །
lü la tsesö zidang pel
Increase my physical lifespan, merit, and splendor;
ངག་ལ་རྩ་རླུང་ནུས་པ་སྤོར། །
ngak la tsalung nüpa por
Enhance the verbal power of the subtle channels and winds; and
སེམས་ལ་བདེ་ཆེན་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྐྱེད། །
sem la dechen yeshe kyé
Make pristine great bliss awareness dawn in my mind.
རྒྱལ་བའི་བཀའ་ཆད་མེད་པ་དང་། །
gyalwé kaché mepa dang
Prevent us from violating the victorious one’s teachings;
མཁའ་འགྲོའི་ཀོ་ལོང་མེད་པར་མཛོད། །
khandrö kolong mepar dzö
Remove all ḍākinī grudges;
སྲུང་མའི་འཁུ་ལྡོག་མི་འབྱུང་ཞིང་། །
sungmé khu dok minjung zhing
Prevent the malice of the guardians; and
དམ་མཁོན་ཉམས་གྲིབ་དབྱིངས་སུ་སོལ། །
dam khön nyamdrib ying su sol
Dispel into space all samaya transgressions and veils.
མཁའ་འགྲོའི་སུན་མ་ཡར་ལ་ཟློག །
khandrö sünma yar la dok
Avert the summons of the ḍākinīs;2
བྱད་ཕུར་རྦོད་གཏོང་ཚར་ཆོད་ཅིག །
jepur bötong tsar chö chik
Annihilate curses and sorcery;
རྒྱ་འདྲེ་འབྱུང་པོ་རྡུལ་དུ་རློག །
gyadré jungpo dul du lok
Grind to dust all kingly spirits, spectres, and ghosts; and
འགྲོ་དོན་བྱེད་པའི་སྐྱེས་བུ་ཡི། །
dro dönjé pé kyebu yi
Avert all obstacles to the awakened body, speech, and mind
སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས་ཀྱི་བར་ཆད་ཟློག །
ku sung tuk kyi barché dok
Of all great beings working for others’ benefit!
རྡོ་རྗེ་གསུམ་གྱི་ངོ་བོ་རུ། །
dorjé sum gyi ngowo ru
May all such beings remain for a hundred eons
བསྐལ་བརྒྱའི་བར་དུ་བཞུགས་གྱུར་ཅིག །
kal gyé bardu zhuk gyur chik
As the essence of the three vajras!
བླ་མ་ཡི་དམ་མཆོག་གསུམ་བདེན། །
lama yidam chok sum den
Through the truth of the gurus, yidams, and Three Jewels,
ཆོས་ཉིད་རྣམ་པར་དག་པ་བདེན། །
chönyi nampar dakpa den
The truth of the pure intrinsic nature,
མཁའ་འགྲོ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་བདེན། །
khandro nam kyi tendrel den
The truth of the ḍākinīs’ auspicious conditions,
ཆོས་སྐྱོང་སྲུང་མའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་བདེན། །
chökyong sungmé trinlé den
The truth of the activity of the Dharma protectors and guardians,
དམ་ལྡན་སློབ་མའི་མོས་གུས་ཀྱིས། །
damden lobmé mögü kyi
And the devotion of disciples who maintain the samaya,
འདོད་དོན་འགྲུབ་པའི་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཤོག །
dödön drubpé tashi shok
May there be the auspiciousness of these wishes being fulfilled!
ཅེས་གླུ་བླངས་པ་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་དམ་ལྡན་ཕྱག་རྒྱ་སོགས་སློབ་མས་མོས་གུས་བརྩེ་གདུང་གིས་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་ན་བུ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བསམ་པ་འགྲུབ་གསུངས་སོ། །
They then said, “Beloved son, if disciples, such as your samaya-bound mudrā, sing this song and thus pray with devotion and longing, your wishes will be fulfilled.”
